November 2026
Osaka’s Autumn Glory in Full Color
Golden ginkgo, fiery maples, crisp skies, and spectacular illuminations make November one of Osaka’s most beautiful months.
November is when Osaka feels perfectly in balance. Days are cool, sunny, and comfortable, while shorter evenings bring a warm glow to the city’s streets, restaurants, and riversides. Cafés and izakaya fill with conversation, lanterns and illuminations brighten the night, and parks become colorful escapes beneath brilliant autumn foliage. It’s a month that invites you to slow down, wander, and simply enjoy being in the city.
Every November celebrates the very best of Osaka’s autumn season. The Osaka Castle Ginkgo Festival welcomes visitors beneath brilliant golden trees, while Expo ’70 Commemorative Park showcases some of Kansai’s finest autumn colors. As the month progresses, the Midosuji Illumination and Osaka Hikari Renaissance transform the city into a glittering landscape of lights, joined by seasonal festivals, exhibitions, concerts, live sports, and cultural events across Osaka.
From brilliant autumn colors to sparkling winter lights, November reminds visitors that Osaka’s beauty isn’t limited to cherry blossom season.
