LE SSERAFIM Goes Bigger in Osaka

From Osaka-jō Hall to the Dome

After electrifying Osaka-jō Hall and SUMMER SONIC audiences this summer, K-pop stars LE SSERAFIM return for their first Kyocera Dome concerts, bringing two nights of music, choreography and theatrical spectacle to Osaka.

Five performers, two nights and one enormous new stage. K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM returns to Osaka on December 19 and 20 for its first concerts at Kyocera Dome, marking another milestone in a year that has already brought the group to the city twice.

The five-member group performed at Osaka-jō Hall in July before appearing at SUMMER SONIC Osaka in August. Now, just five months after those arena concerts, Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae are preparing to bring their PUREFLOW tour to one of Japan’s biggest concert venues.

For anyone unfamiliar with LE SSERAFIM, the group’s name is an anagram of “I’m Fearless,” reflecting the confidence and determination that have shaped its identity since debuting in 2022. Two members are Japanese, including Kazuha, who grew up in Osaka before pursuing ballet training abroad. December’s concerts therefore have a particularly local connection.

And if previous PUREFLOW performances are any indication, this is much more than five singers standing beneath spotlights. Concert reviews from Japan and South Korea describe a theatrical production featuring enormous moving screens, wave-inspired stage structures, elaborate choreography and live-band arrangements. At a Yokohama performance, costumed characters appeared among the audience before the show erupted into lasers, pyrotechnics and music.

The group has also demonstrated a playful connection with Osaka audiences. Concertgoers at July’s Osaka-jō Hall performances recalled the members singing familiar Kansai television jingles, including those associated with Kansai Denki Hoan Kyokai and Hotel New Awaji. It’s a distinctly Osaka touch from a group whose performances otherwise operate on an international scale.

That combination of spectacle and personality has become central to the PUREFLOW experience. The members have described wanting audiences to feel immersed in something resembling a film, with music, movement and emotion connecting throughout the performance.

The precise staging for December’s concerts has yet to be detailed, but the move from Osaka-jō Hall to Kyocera Dome promises a considerably larger setting for LE SSERAFIM’s music and performance style.

For Osaka fans who welcomed the group twice this summer, December offers another chance to experience LE SSERAFIM live—this time beneath the dome.

Kyocera Dome Debut – LE SSERAFIM performs at Osaka’s landmark dome for the first time.

A Bigger Osaka Stage – The group returns just five months after its Osaka-jō Hall concerts.

The PUREFLOW Experience – Previous tour performances have featured theatrical staging, elaborate choreography and striking visual production.

Five Stars, One Stage – Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae reunite for two December performances.

An Osaka Connection – Osaka-raised member Kazuha returns to her hometown for the group’s biggest local venue yet.

  • Five-Member Performance: Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae combine singing, dancing and audience interaction.
  • Theatrical Production: Previous PUREFLOW concerts have featured large-scale video displays, dancers, special effects and immersive staging. Specific elements for Osaka have not been confirmed.
  • Fan Participation: Earlier performances have included opportunities for audiences to sing along and interact with the group.
  • An Osaka Homecoming: Osaka-raised Kazuha returns to perform before a local audience on an especially large stage.
