ARASHI Returns for a Historic Final Tour
Japan’s most influential pop group returns to the stage for a rare and emotional run of performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka—drawing massive crowds, citywide energy, and overwhelming demand for tickets.
Few artists in modern Japanese music have matched the scale, longevity, and emotional connection of Arashi. Formed in 1999, the five-member group became a defining pop force across the 2000s and 2010s, producing chart-topping singles, stadium tours, television appearances, and cultural moments that reached far beyond the typical idol audience. For millions of fans across Japan and around the world, Arashi’s music became part of the soundtrack of everyday life.
In 2026, the group returns for one final moment together. The ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2026 “We are ARASHI” brings the band back to the stage for a farewell dome tour across Japan before their official disbandment later in the year. The tour spans five major dome venues and multiple performances nationwide, culminating in a final show at Tokyo Dome at the end of May.
Osaka plays a major role in that final chapter. For three nights, May 15, 16, and 17, Arashi will perform at Kyocera Dome Osaka, one of the largest concert venues in western Japan. With a capacity of roughly 55,000 people per show, the Osaka stop alone is expected to draw well over 150,000 fans, many traveling from across the country to witness the group’s last performances together.
The concerts themselves promise to be more than a typical tour stop. Arashi is known for large-scale live productions — elaborate staging, massive LED displays, moving stage elements, and tightly choreographed performances that transform dome venues into immersive spaces. Audience participation is also central to the experience, with coordinated penlights and app-linked lighting systems creating synchronized visuals across the entire venue.
Ticket demand for the farewell tour is expected to be unprecedented. Tickets are primarily distributed through a fan-club lottery system, with identity verification measures in place to discourage resale and ensure access for registered members. For most visitors without fan-club access, tickets are extremely difficult to obtain through conventional means.
Even outside the concert itself, the event extends into the surrounding area. Official merchandise sales operate on a reservation-based entry system, with timed slots required in advance. Fans without tickets may still visit designated merchandise areas, contributing to the atmosphere around the dome throughout the day.
For Osaka, the three-night stand is likely to be one of the biggest live music events the city hosts in 2026. More than just concerts, the shows mark the closing act of one of Japan’s most influential pop groups — a moment many fans have been waiting years to experience.
