ARASHI Week In Osaka
While tens of thousands of fans will pack Kyocera Dome Osaka for ARASHI’s long-awaited live performances, many visitors will experience the excitement from outside the venue itself. From timed-entry merchandise systems and capsule toy hunts to karaoke gatherings across the city, ARASHI week transforms Osaka into something much larger than a concert stop.

The concerts may be inside Kyocera Dome Osaka, but Arashi Week 2026 is unfolding far beyond the stadium itself. Across Osaka, fans are already gathering for merchandise drops, collaboration cafés, themed shopping, citywide photo moments, and the atmosphere surrounding one of Japan’s biggest pop groups — even if they never enter the venue.
Official concert performances run May 15–17 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, with evening shows on Friday and Saturday and a slightly earlier Sunday performance. Tickets have been extraordinarily difficult to secure, and resale prices have surged accordingly. But for many fans, the experience now extends well beyond the concert seats themselves. In practice, Arashi Week has become a citywide event.
The Merchandise Experience

The clearest example is the official merchandise area at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Merchandise sales officially began before the concerts themselves, running from May 14–17 through the STARTO ENTERTAINMENT “MERCH MARKET” reservation system. Fans — including many without concert tickets — have been competing aggressively for timed admission slots just to enter the merchandise area. Reservation windows reportedly disappear within minutes of release as visitors attempt to secure access to exclusive tour goods and the heavily discussed capsule toy machines inside the venue complex.
The capsule toy project has become one of the most talked-about parts of the experience. Fans who successfully enter the merchandise area can purchase dedicated coins for limited collectible capsule items themed around the tour. Access rules are tightly controlled: visitors must first clear merchandise entry before reaching the capsule area itself. The process has transformed what might normally be a simple merch booth into something closer to a live attraction, with fans organizing schedules, meeting times, and Osaka travel plans around reservation availability.
Arashi Week Around the Town
The atmosphere is now spreading across the city itself. At Shin-Osaka Station, arriving fans are being greeted by special Arashi-themed displays, Osaka souvenir tie-ins, and member-color themed gift promotions. Department stores and commercial spaces have also begun leaning into the moment. Hankyu Umeda has activated themed in-store music and promotional tie-ins, while karaoke venues and fan gathering spaces across Namba continue filling with unofficial “oshikai” meetups, viewing parties, and social gatherings organized by fans themselves.
For visitors without tickets, this may actually be the most interesting part of Arashi Week. Osaka has effectively become a temporary fan city. Around Kyocera Dome, groups gather simply to trade merchandise, photograph tour trucks, meet online friends in person, or participate in the atmosphere surrounding the concerts. Cafés fill with member-color outfits and handmade fan goods. Hotels near Dome-mae and Namba are packed with visitors arriving from across Japan.
What makes the phenomenon remarkable is how little of it is formally organized. Outside the official concerts and merchandise operations, much of Arashi Week exists through fan activity itself — coordinated through social media, group chats, cafés, station meetups, and Osaka’s own commercial energy absorbing the momentum of the concerts.
Even for people who never hear a single song inside Kyocera Dome, Arashi Week 2026 has already become one of Osaka’s largest unofficial entertainment events of the month.
