BIGBANG’s 20th Anniversary Concert

Three Members celebrate Twenty Years as K-Pop Pioneers

K-pop's BIGBANG bring their XX : COSMOS world tour to Kyocera Dome Osaka for three nights, celebrating two decades of hits with G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG.

Twenty years after their debut, BIGBANG is bringing its anniversary celebration to Osaka. The influential K-pop group arrives at Kyocera Dome Osaka for three concerts from November 27 to 29, reuniting G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG onstage for the XX : COSMOS world tour.

For longtime fans, the attraction is a catalog that helped define an era of Korean pop music. For newcomers, it’s a chance to experience the group behind anthems such as “Fantastic Baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and “Haru Haru,” performed by three artists whose individual careers have become nearly as prominent as their work together.

The current three-member lineup returns with new music, including the 2026 single “BiiiG,” alongside the songs that made BIGBANG famous. It is the group’s first major world tour together since 2017, bringing a long-awaited reunion to fans who have followed their careers for nearly two decades.

The anniversary tour has already traveled internationally, offering a glimpse of what Osaka audiences might expect. Reviewers described a career-spanning performance featuring elaborate choreography, dancers, and pyrotechnics. Alongside the group’s familiar hits, each member stepped into the spotlight for solo performances, bringing a different musical personality to the stage.

BIGBANG debuted in August 2006 as a five-member group and became one of the defining acts of K-pop’s second generation. Their combination of hip-hop, electronic dance music, R&B, and pop helped broaden the genre’s international audience, while their songwriting, fashion, and individual artistic identities distinguished them from many of their contemporaries.

Japan became an important part of that success. BIGBANG developed a devoted following through Japanese-language releases and major arena and dome tours, establishing a connection with audiences that has endured through years of changing lineups and individual projects.

As XX : COSMOS reaches Osaka, the anniversary is about more than revisiting past success. For G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and the fans who grew up with their music, these three nights offer an opportunity to celebrate a legacy that continues to evolve.
