TOMOO’s Big Moment in Osaka

Japan’s Rising Piano-Pop Star Emerges at Osaka-jō Hall

Discover TOMOO, the Japanese singer-songwriter captivating audiences with her soulful voice, irresistible melodies and emotionally rich piano-pop. On November 23, 2026, she brings her first arena tour, emerge, to Osaka-jō Hall, marking a major milestone in her growing career.

There’s something wonderfully unexpected about TOMOO. The Japanese singer-songwriter has a voice that sounds deeper and more mature than her years, a gift for melodies that linger long after the music stops, and a talent for turning everyday observations into deeply personal songs. On November 23, 2026, she brings TOMOO Arena Tour 2026 “emerge” to Osaka-jō Hall, marking her first arena tour and a major step forward in her career.

For Osaka audiences, it’s an exciting return. In February 2026, TOMOO performed at Festival Hall during her DEAR MYSTERIES tour, captivating fans with a performance that balanced intimate piano passages and richly arranged songs. One concertgoer described being moved to tears by her solo piano performances, while another praised the emotional depth of her music. Just nine months later, she’s moving to the considerably larger Osaka-jō Hall, bringing that same expressive musicianship to an arena-sized audience.

That contrast is central to TOMOO’s appeal. Her music moves between playful pop and thoughtful reflections on relationships, uncertainty and everyday life. Songs such as Super Ball and Ginger introduced listeners to her distinctive sound, while Contrast, the ending theme for the anime Blue Box, helped bring her music to a wider audience. Her second album, DEAR MYSTERIES, released in November 2025, expanded that musical world with sophisticated arrangements, tender ballads and increasingly confident songwriting.

Her live performances reveal another dimension. At Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan in May 2025, TOMOO performed with a 21-member ensemble, moving between solo piano passages and richly orchestrated arrangements. Japanese music critics praised her ability to make even a large venue feel intimate. More recently, her DEAR MYSTERIES hall tour demonstrated how naturally she connects with audiences, whether accompanied by a full band or sitting alone at the piano.

Born in Tokyo, TOMOO began studying piano at six and was writing original songs by junior high school. She made her major-label debut in 2022 with Othello, followed by her first album, TWO MOON, in 2023. Her music has since reached new listeners through anime and television, while her concerts have steadily grown in scale. Yet her appeal remains rooted in thoughtful songwriting, expressive musicianship and an unmistakable voice.

The title “emerge” feels especially appropriate for this next chapter. Following her Budokan breakthrough, the success of DEAR MYSTERIES and her recent Osaka performance, TOMOO is stepping onto an even bigger stage. For longtime fans, it’s a chance to celebrate how far she’s come. For newcomers, Osaka-jō Hall offers an opportunity to discover one of Japan’s most distinctive contemporary singer-songwriters at an exciting moment in her career.
