Kenshi Yonezu GHOSTs Osaka

…But in a Good Way! A New Chapter Begins at Osaka-jō Hall

Kenshi Yonezu brings his GHOST tour to Osaka-jō Hall for two nights, returning to the arena after his spectacular 2025 Kyocera Dome concerts. Discover the artist whose journey from internet music culture to international stardom has reshaped Japanese pop.

Kenshi Yonezu returns to Osaka-jō Hall on November 18 and 19, bringing his 2026 TOUR / GHOST to the arena where he performed three years earlier. The two concerts follow his February 2025 appearances at Kyocera Dome Osaka, where the acclaimed singer-songwriter brought his ambitious JUNK tour to one of the city’s largest stages. Now, Yonezu returns to a familiar venue for another chapter in a remarkable live career.

Those previous Osaka performances offer a glimpse of what makes Yonezu such a compelling concert artist. At Kyocera Dome, audiences experienced atmospheric visuals, dancers and music that moved between sweeping emotion and powerful rock arrangements. Yet his 2023 Osaka-jō Hall concerts reveal a more personal dimension: relaxed conversations with guitarist Hiroshi Nakajima, attentive crowds and a welcoming community of fans gathering outside the venue. Yonezu’s earlier concerts demonstrate an imagination that extends well beyond the music itself.

His appeal also reaches far beyond traditional pop audiences. Songs such as Lemon, KICK BACK and Peace Sign have become cultural touchstones, while his contributions to Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia and Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron have introduced his music to audiences around the world. His sound moves effortlessly between alternative rock, electronic textures, intricate melodies and deeply personal songwriting.

That international appeal became unmistakable during his 2025 JUNK tour, which expanded from major Japanese arenas and domes to concerts in Asia, Europe and North America. Japanese music journalists documented performances that combined elaborate visual storytelling with Yonezu’s distinctive voice and commanding stage presence, introducing his Japanese-language songs to enthusiastic audiences overseas.

Long before those international stages, Yonezu began creating music under the name Hachi, publishing influential Vocaloid compositions online. His transition to performing under his own name transformed an unconventional internet-born career into one of contemporary Japanese music’s greatest success stories.

For Osaka fans, GHOST brings that journey full circle: from the intimate exchanges remembered at Osaka-jō Hall in 2023 to the grand spectacle of Kyocera Dome in 2025, and now back to the arena where another chapter awaits.
