Six Groups, One Osaka Stage

Livejack Widens the Dance-Vocal Mix

Livejack brings six dance-vocal groups to Osaka-jō Hall for one night spanning Hello! Project idol pop, rising Japanese acts and the JYP-powered NEXZ — with women joining the event for the first time.

Six groups, six different corners of the dance-vocal world and one Osaka-jō Hall stage.

On October 31, Kansai TV brings Livejack 2026 SMASH BEAT SP to Osaka for a one-day showcase featuring CLASS SEVEN, Juice=Juice, NEXZ, BUDDiiS, BEYOOOOONDS and ONE N’ ONLY. The mix stretches from established Japanese idol pop to arena-tested dance groups and the Japanese-Korean crossover world represented by JYP Entertainment’s NEXZ.

There is a significant change in that mix this year. Juice=Juice and BEYOOOOONDS are the first female groups to perform at Livejack. Both come from Hello! Project, bringing a different lineage of Japanese idol performance into an event that has recently leaned heavily toward male dance-vocal acts. Juice=Juice member Ruru Dambara has another reason to welcome the Osaka date: she noted that the group has several Kansai-born members and described the appearance as coming back to Osaka.

NEXZ provides the clearest K-pop connection. Created through Nizi Project Season 2 and developed by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan, the seven-member group returns to Osaka-jō Hall after staging two arena-tour performances there in June.

ONE N’ ONLY brings a large international and social-media following, while BUDDiiS returns after performing at Livejack last year. BEYOOOOONDS brings Hello! Project’s more theatrical side, and seven-member CLASS SEVEN arrives as the emerging act on a bill filled with considerably more established arena performers. ONE N’ ONLY also returns to Livejack after a two-year absence.

Connecting those different audiences are returning MCs Hiroto Nakajima of FM802 and Minami Takahashi, the former general manager of AKB48. The entire event will also be recorded for television, although Kansai TV has not yet announced broadcast details.

Livejack isn’t asking everyone to arrive for one headliner. It is putting six very different versions of modern dance-vocal pop in the same room and letting their audiences meet.

Six Groups, One Stage – Catch CLASS SEVEN, Juice=Juice, NEXZ, BUDDiiS, BEYOOOOONDS and ONE N’ ONLY in one afternoon.

A Livejack First – Juice=Juice and BEYOOOOONDS become the event’s first female groups.

J-Pop Meets K-Pop Influence – The lineup stretches from Hello! Project to JYP Entertainment’s NEXZ.

Arena-Level Acts – Several performers arrive with their own major arena experience already behind them.

FM802 Meets AKB48 – Hiroto Nakajima and Minami Takahashi return to host the event.
