Tenshiba Christmas Market

Holiday Cheer Under the Tennoji Sky

Step into a European-style holiday wonderland right in the heart of Osaka — the Ten-shiba Christmas Market brings festive stalls, mulled wine, and seasonal sparkle to Tennoji Park.

As the year winds down, Ten-shiba at Tennoji Park transforms into one of Osaka’s most beloved winter destinations. From November 22 to December 25, 2025, the lawn plaza becomes a European-style Christmas market, complete with wooden chalets, twinkling lights, and the scent of cinnamon and roasted nuts wafting through the air.

Visitors can browse rows of stalls selling everything from hand-crafted ornaments and candles to traditional German treats like stollen and sausages. Hot mulled wine and cocoa keep hands warm while children enjoy seasonal sweets and colorful decorations. At night, the market glows with illuminations, creating a festive contrast against the nearby Tsutenkaku Tower rising in the distance.

The market is more than just shopping — it’s an experience. Families gather for stage performances and Christmas carols, couples stroll hand-in-hand through the illuminated walkways, and groups of friends toast the season with craft beer and warm snacks. For inbound travelers, it’s a perfect way to feel the holiday spirit while soaking in the atmosphere of one of Osaka’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
