Beer•Bravo! Returns to KITTE Osaka
Beer・Bravo! mini returns to KITTE Osaka this autumn, bringing its compact craft beer carnival back to the heart of Umeda. Following a well-received debut in June, the pop-up edition returns for four days of craft beer.
Beer・Bravo! has been bringing craft breweries from across Japan together in Osaka since 2022, but this year the festival tried something different. In June, it traded the scale of its larger outdoor gatherings for a compact new pop-up format in the heart of Umeda: Beer・Bravo! mini.
Apparently, Osaka was thirsty for more.
Following the positive reception of its June debut, Beer・Bravo! mini returns to KITTE Osaka from October 8–11, 2026. The autumn edition expands the event from three days to four, once again taking over the B1 Sankun Garden directly connected to the Osaka Station area.
The idea behind “mini” is simple: take the craft beer discovery of the larger Beer・Bravo! festival and make it smaller, more intimate and considerably easier to drop into. Instead of dozens of brewery booths spread across a large outdoor venue, the first KITTE Osaka edition concentrated on six makers in a central gathering space surrounded by the shops and restaurants of Umeda.
And those six packed plenty of craft beer credentials. The June lineup included ISEKADO from Mie, Ush Tora Breweryfrom Tochigi, Osaka’s own CRAFT BEER BASE, Minami Shinshu Beer and Yo-Ho Brewing from Nagano, along with Kirin’s SPRING VALLEY craft beer brand. Five had participated in Beer・Bravo! since its inaugural year.
The KITTE setting also changed how visitors could experience the festival. Rather than making Beer・Bravo! the destination for an entire day, the mini format made it something visitors could weave into a day in Umeda — stopping by for a few tastings after shopping, meeting friends after work or pairing a beer with food ordered from participating KITTE Osaka restaurants.
It’s a notable evolution for a festival that started considerably bigger. Beer・Bravo! launched in Osaka in 2022 and quickly grew into a large-scale gathering, with its second edition at Minatomachi River Place bringing together 18 breweries from across Japan. The mini concept takes that same interest in discovering Japanese craft beer and deliberately brings the scale back down.
The brewery lineup and full program for October have not yet been announced, so exactly what will be pouring this autumn remains under wraps. But the return itself says something about the experiment Beer・Bravo! tried in June.

The June Beer・Bravo! mini was free to enter, with visitors purchasing beer separately from the participating brewery booths. No advance admission ticket was required.
Organizers have not yet confirmed whether the same system will be used for the October edition.
