yama Live in Namba

A streaming-era voice steps onto the Zepp stage

yama brings his C.U.T release tour to Zepp Namba for a one-night Osaka performance, blending viral hits, anime connections, and an immersive live sound.

Few artists define Japan’s streaming-era sound as clearly as yama. Emerging outside traditional media pipelines, his music spread organically through playlists, late-night listening, and online communities before breaking into the mainstream. On May 23, 2026, he brings that sound to Osaka as part of the C.U.T Release Tour “羽化”, performing at Zepp Namba for a single-night engagement.

The tour follows the release of C.U.T, a concept-driven project that explores transformation and identity—an idea reflected in the tour title “羽化,” meaning metamorphosis. That thematic direction carries into the live show, where music, lighting, and pacing are designed to create a cohesive emotional arc rather than a series of disconnected songs.

yama first gained widespread attention with “Haru wo Tsugeru,” a track that resonated with a generation navigating isolation and transition. His connection to anime audiences expanded further with “Oz.”, the ending theme for Ranking of Kings, placing him within a broader wave of artists whose work crosses between streaming platforms, anime culture, and live performance.

Live performances on the C.U.T tour emphasize atmosphere over spectacle. Audience responses from earlier shows highlight the immersive quality of the experience, with lighting design and sound shaping a mood-driven environment that builds gradually across the set. Rather than relying on choreography or visual excess, the performance focuses on tone, restraint, and emotional continuity.

At Zepp Namba, that approach becomes particularly effective. With a standing-floor layout and close stage proximity, the venue amplifies the sense of connection between artist and audience. Entry is organized by ticket number, and the experience begins well before the first note, as fans queue early to secure position inside one of Osaka’s most important live music spaces.

With confirmed times, ticket tiers, and strong demand across the tour, the Osaka stop stands out as one of the key Kansai performances of 2026—an intimate yet high-impact live experience rooted in the sound of a generation shaped by streaming and digital culture.

Concept Tour – Built around the themes of C.U.T and “羽化” (metamorphosis).

Anime Impact – Known globally for Ranking of Kings ending theme “Oz.”

Zepp Energy – Standing venue format creates an immersive, close-range live experience.

Atmospheric Sound – Minimal spectacle, maximum emotional impact.

One-Night Only – Single Osaka date during a high-demand tour.
