Osaka Camping Car Show

Osaka's Adventure Season Starts Here

Western Japan’s largest camper showcase rolls into Intex Osaka March 14–15, 2026, with 200+ rigs, van-life energy, and everything you need to kick off spring road-trip season in style.

Spring adventure season officially begins in Osaka on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2026, when the Osaka Camping Car Show returns to Intex Osaka for its annual two-day showcase of life on wheels. Organized by the Japan Recreational Vehicle Association (JRVA), this is one of western Japan’s largest dedicated camper and RV exhibitions, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year.

Now well over a decade into its Kansai run, the show has become a seasonal fixture. Recent editions have featured approximately 200–250 camping vehicles on display, with attendance often reaching 25,000–30,000 visitors over the weekend, depending on weather and lineup. Manufacturers range from compact Japanese van converters to luxury motorhome builders and imported European models, making it one of the most comprehensive RV gatherings in the region.

Inside the exhibition halls, visitors can step directly into new 2026-model campers, compare floor plans, inspect kitchen systems, test seating layouts, and speak with builders. In addition to full vehicles, dozens of exhibitors present outdoor gear, power systems, rooftop tents, camping accessories, and custom van conversion services.

The show has also built a reputation for its stage programming. In past years, outdoor personalities, travel creators, and automotive journalists have appeared for talk sessions and demonstrations. While the 2026 guest lineup is still being finalized, the stage area typically adds energy beyond the showroom floor and attracts a loyal fan base of van-life enthusiasts.

For Kansai residents, the timing is strategic. Mid-March marks the transition into Japan’s peak travel season — just before cherry blossoms bloom. The Osaka Camping Car Show often serves as an unofficial kickoff to spring road-trip planning, whether that means touring Shikoku, heading north toward the Hokuriku coast, or preparing for Golden Week adventures.

250+ Vehicles — Compact vans to luxury motorhomes all under one roof.

Hands-On Access — Step inside, compare layouts, and talk directly with builders.

Gear Central — Power systems, rooftop tents, and outdoor accessories on display.

Stage Energy — Travel creators and outdoor experts share insights and stories.

Spring Kickoff — The unofficial start of Kansai’s road-trip season.
