Kazuya Kamenashi’s Osaka Kickoff
Mega-popstar Kazuya Kamenashi launches his nationwide LIVE TOUR 2026 in Osaka, making Festival Hall the very first stage to unveil the production, setlist, and summer energy.
Osaka doesn’t just get a tour stop — it gets opening night. On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Kazuya Kamenashi launches LIVE TOUR 2026 at Festival Hall, making Osaka the first city in Japan to experience the full production. Opening nights carry a special charge: the debut of staging, costumes, arrangements, and the first-ever performance of the complete setlist.

Kamenashi’s ascent began with KAT-TUN, the powerhouse unit formed in 2001 that commanded sold-out shows and a devoted following years before its official CD debut. By the mid-2000s, he was already a familiar face in Japan’s pop landscape. Starring in the hit drama Nobuta wo Produce, he reached new audiences — and the theme song, “Seishun Amigo,” released under the limited unit Shuji & Akira, debuted at No.1 on the Oricon Singles Chart and became the best-selling single of the year. It was a moment when prime-time drama and pop dominance aligned perfectly, cementing his status as both actor and chart-topping performer.
His solo career continued that chart momentum, including the No.1 single ‘Rain’ in 2017. Over the years, his live performances have evolved into tightly produced showcases blending choreography, cinematic visuals, and intimate vocal segments that highlight his control and stage presence.
July in Osaka is famously humid, the air thick even after sunset — and that atmosphere often carries straight into the venue. Festival Hall’s refined acoustics will capture every nuance, but this kickoff night is expected to feel hot with energy. Osaka audiences are known for their expressiveness, and beginning a national tour here signals confidence in the Kansai fanbase.
